Description

Branded envelopes make your mail look like it came from a business, not a bulk run. A printed return address and logo build trust before the envelope is even opened — which matters for invoices, statements, announcements, invitations, and everyday correspondence. We print in full color within the envelope’s designated print area on a clean, smooth 70 Lb opaque white stock.

Seven envelope styles

Pick the format that fits how you mail:

  • #10 (4.125″ x 9.5″) Standard — the everyday business envelope for letters and invoices.
  • #10 Standard with Window — the address on your letter shows through, so you never print it twice.
  • A-2, A-6, and A-7 Announcement — squarer, elegant envelopes for invitations, cards, and announcements.
  • 6″ x 9″ and 9″ x 12″ Booklet — larger envelopes for catalogs, reports, and documents that shouldn’t be folded.

Smooth opaque stock

All envelopes print on 70 Lb. Opaque Smooth White — a clean, professional stock that keeps contents private and gives your print crisp, even color.

Print your envelopes in full color

Your artwork prints in full color within the envelope’s designated print area, so your logo, return address, and branding come through exactly as designed — not limited to a single ink.

What you get

Order from 250 to 30,000 envelopes. Standard production runs 2 to 4 business days, and rush printing brings it down to 2 business days. Everything is printed in-house on our Konica AccurioPress production press in Morristown, Tennessee.

Before you pay, you will see a live proof of your envelope with the print area and safe margins drawn on top, so your design stays clear of the flap, seams, and (on window styles) the window. Designing from scratch? The Templates tab above has every envelope size ready in AI, INDD, PSD, PDF, and JPG.

Design Guide

For the best results, set up your file to these specifications before uploading. Following them helps ensure accurate placement, correct color, and a clean, professional print.

Document Size and Print Area

Envelopes are different from flat prints: they do not print to the edge, so there is no bleed. Build your file at the envelope’s flat size and keep your design inside the print area:

  • Keep all text, logos, and artwork at least 0.1875″ (3/16″) in from every edge, and clear of the flap and the glued side seams, where ink cannot print cleanly.
  • On the #10 Standard with Window, keep your design clear of the die-cut window opening — the template marks its exact position.

Because the print area, flap, and window positions are exact, the easiest way to get this right is to start from our template for your envelope size.

Image Quality

Create or place all images and graphics at a minimum of 350 DPI at final print size. Low-resolution artwork looks soft or pixelated once printed, and enlarging a small image will not add detail back.

Color Mode

Design in CMYK, the standard color format for commercial printing. Files built in RGB will be converted for print, and bright blues, greens, and neons can shift noticeably. Converting them yourself lets you see and correct those shifts before you order.

Color Profile

Use GRACoL2006_Coated1v2.icc. This is the profile our press is calibrated to, and designing in it is the closest you can get to seeing your printed result on screen before it is printed. Set it under Edit > Color Settings > CMYK in Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign, and keep it assigned when you export.

Blacks

For large solid black areas, use C60 M40 Y40 K100. Black on its own (K100) is semi-transparent and looks washed out across a big fill. For small text, thin lines, and fine details, use plain K100 instead, since rich black on small elements can cause colored fringing. This matters on envelopes, where return addresses and fine print are usually small text.

Fonts

Convert all text to outlines before saving, or embed the fonts in your PDF. A font we do not have installed will be substituted, and your layout will change.

Accepted File Formats

We support PDF, AI, EPS, PSD, TIF, TIFF, JPG, PNG, BMP, and GIF. Whenever possible, submit a print-ready PDF — it preserves your fonts, layout, and color settings better than any other format.

File Size Limit

Uploaded files must be 75 MB or smaller. If your file is larger, contact us and we will set up an alternative transfer method.

Start From a Template

The easiest path is to skip the setup entirely. The Templates tab above has every size ready to download in AI, INDD, PSD, PDF, and JPG, with the print area, flap, seams, and window already drawn in.

File Review and Proof

After you upload, you will see a live proof of your envelope with the print area and safe margins drawn on top — review it before you pay. Your file also goes through a brief pre-production check to confirm placement and resolution. If we spot anything that could affect the print, we will reach out before moving forward.

Before You Submit

Files that are not set up to spec can delay production. Double-check your print-area placement, clearance from the flap, seams, and window, resolution, and color mode before uploading, and when in doubt, start from a template.

FAQ
What envelope sizes do you offer?

Seven: #10 (4.125" x 9.5") Standard, #10 Standard with Window, A-2 (4.375" x 5.75"), A-6 (4.75" x 6.5"), and A-7 (5.25" x 7.25") announcement envelopes, plus 6" x 9" and 9" x 12" booklet envelopes.

Can I print my envelopes in full color?

Yes. Your artwork — logo, return address, and branding — prints in full color within the envelope's designated print area, so you are not limited to a single ink.

What is a window envelope for?

The #10 Standard with Window has a die-cut opening so the address printed on your letter shows through. It saves you from printing or labeling the address twice, which is why it is common for invoices and statements.

What paper are the envelopes made of?

All sizes use 70 Lb. Opaque Smooth White — a clean, professional stock that keeps contents private and holds crisp, even color.

How many can I order, and how fast?

Order from 250 to 30,000. Standard production takes 2 to 4 business days, and rush printing brings it down to 2 business days. Shipping time is added on top and depends on your address.

Do you offer free envelope templates?

Yes. Every envelope size has a free downloadable template with the print area, safe margins, flap, seams, and (on window styles) the window already drawn in. Each one comes in AI, INDD, PSD, PDF, and JPG, so your file is print-ready the first time. Download them from the Templates tab above.
